The Tamil Nadu Milk Agents Association has alleged that the state-run Aavin dairy cooperative has incurred a loss of Rs 1,825 crore. The association claims that these financial irregularities stem from corrupt practices during the procurement of milk powder and butter.
According to the association, the current financial crisis is a direct result of mismanagement during the previous administration. They stated that the organization’s focus on prioritizing procurement profits over operational stability has left Aavin in a precarious financial position.
