The Communist Party of India (CPI) has announced a statewide protest scheduled for August 1, 2026. The demonstrations will take place at district headquarters across Tamil Nadu.
The party is demanding that the Tamil Nadu government immediately convene an all-party meeting. This meeting should include representatives of farmers to build a consensus regarding the ongoing Cauvery issue.
