PMK leader Anbumani Ramadoss has accused both the BJP and Congress of conspiring regarding the Mekedatu dam project. He challenged Congress MP Manickam Tagore to demonstrate the courage to demand that Rahul Gandhi oppose the construction of the dam in Karnataka.
Ramadoss further demanded that Rahul Gandhi provide a formal assurance that the Mekedatu dam will not be built. He stated that if such a guarantee is given, he is prepared to withdraw from the National Democratic Alliance.
