Congress leader Rahul Gandhi was forcibly arrested by police while protesting near Prime Minister Narendra Modi's residence. Officers physically lifted Gandhi as he sat on the ground during the demonstration.
Reports indicate that Gandhi sustained a nasal injury resulting in bleeding during the arrest. It is further alleged that several Congress MPs who joined him in the protest also suffered injuries during the police action.
